Today I have two types of art using tape.
First up is a tape resist art. (Be sure to use washi tape or tape that peels up easily.)

Use the tape to make an outline. The easiest ones are Christmas trees, snowflakes, and stars.

But be adventurous and see what you can come up with!
After your outline is taped use pastel chalk or paint to cover the whole paper. Then peel tape to reveal the picture.

Next up, is another art project using washi tape.
Give your child a piece of paper (I used cardstock) to cover in washi tape. I tore off pieces and let my daughter stick them all over.
Once she was done, I cut out trees. You can draw a little template on the back or freehand it!
Then let your child glue the trees onto another paper. You can create the background or have them create it.
